Welcome to Far Rockaway Library! Visit your local QPL branch for books, movies, music, free Wi-Fi, free computer workstations, classes, programs, and so much more.
No matter who you are, where you’re from, or where you want to go, at Queens Public Library, we speak your language. This QPL location has Extended Wi-Fi. If you’re within 450 feet of this branch, you can connect automatically to our wireless network, QPL_Wi-Fi, whether we are open or closed, no sign-in required!
Teens will need a library card to enter the Far Rockaway Teen Library and reserve a time slot to use gaming systems and computers. Teens can apply for library cards inside the building.
Reservations can be made at reservation.queenslibrary.org. QR codes are also placed in the library’s windows for easy access to making reservations.
Reservations can be made a week in advance for up to 45 minutes per activity. Walk-in reservations can be made at the main desk if slots are available.
